Please find enclosed a copy of an email from Sarah Meecham of 27 August 2019 requesting 
the following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
  •  “Please confirm Reg Korau Teacher at Napier Boys High school who lost his driver 
licence for Drink Driving  - drove children in  the school vehicles whilst disqualified  in 
February 2014 and August 2104 - in his role  as hostel master - which required him to 
taxi children around during his weekend duties, also as HOD of Maori” 
 
As the Ministry of Education does not hold this information I am transferring the request to 
Napier Boys High School under section 14(b)(i) of the Act. 
 
I have written to Sarah Meecham, to advise that the request has been transferred to your 
school. Please provide a response to Sarah Meecham directly.
