Thank you for your request for official information dated 18 September 2019 regarding all information,
reasons for the action, plans, diagrams, notes, correspondence, letters advising affected home owners,
instructions to contractors, regarding the extension as of today (18 September 2019) to the bus stop on the
eastern side of Pakuranga Road between The Link and the lights at the junction with Botany Road, Howick.
We have provided the following documentation:
- Consultation Letter (explains the reason for the project)
- Howick Local Board Consultation Letter
- Consultation Plan (sent with the Consultation Letter)
- Traffic Control Committee (TCC) document
- Combined Emails
The contractors were advised to carry out the work as per the designs provided by our project team and to
follow the agreement in their contract with AT. We will not be providing a copy of this contract; this
information is withheld as it is commercially sensitive at this stage. Under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 AT can withhold information as its release would be likely prejudice the
commercial position of our contractor. This is in accordance with section 7(2)(b) ii of the LGOIMA.
AT does however regularly publish on the AT website a list of awarded contracts; this information is update

Some sections of the provided documentation have been either redacted or withheld. These are being
withheld under:
Section 7(2)(a) of the Act, as withholding the information is necessary to protect the privacy of natural
persons, including that of deceased natural persons
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you are able to, in
accordance with section 27 (3) of the LGOIMA, make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman to seek
an investigation and review regarding this matter.
