I refer to your official information request dated 1 October 2019.  
 
You requested as fol ows: 
 
Please provide any records (including but not limited to internal/external: documents, emails, 
notes, minutes, text messages, or social media messages) mentioning climate activist Greta 
Thunberg or either of her parents, (Malena Ernman, Svante Thunberg). 
 
We have made enquiries and have been able to locate three emails mentioning Greta Thunberg, 
which we have attached: 
 
1.  Thursday 26 September 2019, subject line “Piece for Ian’s update” 
2.  Wednesday 25 September 2019, subject line “climate” 
3.  Thursday 13 December 2019, subject line “Climate Breakdown News – Greta’s speech to 
UN” 
 
The email dated 13 December 2018 was sent internally by one individual staff member and it 
expresses their personal views. 
 
Apart from this, we have made reasonable enquiries and have been unable to locate any records 
mentioning any of the people mentioned in your request. That means GNS Science has no other 
information it can provide with respect to your requests for information above. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
