I refer to your Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act request dated 22 
November about WREDA’s organisational structure and details about China-specific roles. 
Attached is the China Tourism Development Manager Job Description and the WREDA 
organisational chart. However, we have decided to refuse your request for information 
which relates to supplying the names of employees, other than those of the organisation’s 
senior leadership team, for specific roles. This is withheld under section s7(2)(a) of the 
LGOIMA to protect the officers’ privacy. 
I can also inform you that the salary band for the China Tourism Development Manager’s 
role is $69,321 - $84,725. 
You also asked if WREDA had hosted or co-hosted any events with regards to China. The 
answer to that question is yes. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
