emails and dates/summaries of meetings between LINZ and FENZ (Fire Emergency 
New Zealand) on the subject of the NZ Localities dataset since the start of 2016.” 
 
As the scope of your request is currently very broad, we would welcome the opportunity 
to speak with you about it.  This would help us better understand your request and 
provide you with more specific information.  It would also enable us to give you an 
overview of our Resilience dataset work programme (which includes the New Zealand 
Localities/Suburbs dataset) that you may be interested in.

Please note that we are unable to consider your request further until we receive this 
clarification from you (either verbally or written).   
 
If we do not have the opportunity to speak with you or receive clarification of your 
request by 19 February 2020, it will need to be refused under section 18(f) of the 
Official Information Act.  This is because, as it is currently phrased, the information 
requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research.
