Time Extension of your Official Information Act request, reference: GOV-003889
Thank you for your request of 20 February 2020, asking for the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Please supply information, without disclosing name of Specialist/Specialists who have been
reported by the ACC to medical council, the specialists particular discipline agency or the like for
years 2010 to 2019
1/ Thier [sic]
qualification/Specialty/or other such title allocated by their [sic]
own virtue
2/ the agency that carried out investigation
3/ the outcome of investigation pertaining to the specialist of concern
4/ years specialist has/was/or had ever been contracted by the ACC
5/ the Specialists current position with the ACC contract wise
ACC needs extra time
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the
day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil not be possible to meet that time limit and we are
therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to 9 April 2020.
This extension is necessary because your request necessitates a search through a large quantity of
information and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with our operations. As such,
a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
