Thank you for your email of 12 April 2020 via  the FYI Website requesting the following information 
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
1. A list of all CCTV camera locations that are owned OR operated by the NZTA in the 
Hawkes Bay are. 
2. A list of all camera locations used for Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) within 
Hawkesbay. 
 
Waka Kotahi, the NZ Transport Agency operates four cameras in the Hawkes bay region, their 
locations are as following;  
 
1. Intersection of State Highway 2 and Meeanee Road – Facing North 
2. Intersection of State Highway 2 and Taradale Road – Facing North 
3. Intersection of State Highway 2 and Prebensen Drive – Facing East 
4. Intersection of State Highway 2 and Watchman Road – Facing South 
 
Regarding your request for all camera locations used for ANPR, there is one local ANPR associated 
with a Weigh in Motion weigh pit at Eskdale on SH 5 (2km from the SH 2 junction).
