Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of 
Health (the Ministry) on 15 April 2020 for:  
 
“Would you please be able to provide me with a list of the ethnicities and numbers of 
doctors of each ethnicity working in New Zealand. 
 
In particular, I would like to know how many doctors there are of Czech ethnicity/origin 
and which district health board they are employed in.” 
 
Your request for this information is refused under section 18(g) of the Act as this information 
is not held by the Ministry or another agency subject to the Act.
