Ministry of Health to Ministers and/or other departments (eg, DPMC, Treasury, SSC,
MBIE, Ministry of Social Development etc) on the public-health implications of
economic depression or recession and unemployment, which was intended to assist
the Cabinet in making its decision today on whether or not to extend Level 4 of the
current lockdown.”
We understand that information that informed the Cabinet decision on 20 April 2020 will be
released on the Government’s website in the coming weeks (COVID19.govt.nz).
However, given the specific nature of your request, following consultation we can advise the
Ministry has not provided information as detailed in your request. As such, your request is

We do apologise for the inaccurate refusal you previously received regarding this request

Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision
to refuse your request.
Yours sincerely
