Hi Brent
As discussed we have an overbridge over the NIMT line located between two ends of Sims Road, in the
northern area (Karaka) of our district.
The road to the bridge is closed at each end to attempt to restrict all access to the bridge as it is structurally no
longer capable of carrying any loading.  However late last week timber decking came loose and fell into the rail
corridor.  Therefore Council and ONTRACK are now in discussion about removing the bridge structure - but I
understand that there are cables crossing the bridge - some of which may belong to Telecom.  Can you please
confirm if you do have cables across the bridge, if anyone is already investigating their relocation if there are
Telecom cables there, and if you do have cables there, but no investigation is yet underway, how I might get
this happening.
