OFFICIAL INFORMATION ACT 20-35 MASTER OF AUDIOLOGY STATISTICS
I refer to your Official Information Act request dated 9 July 2020 for information relating to the Masters of
Audiology programme at the University of Canterbury. You have requested the fol owing:
(1) Number of General seats available each year,
(2) Number of General seats filled each year,
(3) Number of General applicants,
(4) Lowest GPA for successful General applicants,
(5) Lower Quartile GPA for successful General applicants,
(6) Median GPA for successful General applicants,
(7) Upper Quartile GPA for successful General applicants,
(8) Highest GPA for unsuccessful General applicants,
(9) Lowest successful first round offer GPA (under the general category only),
(10) Lowest successful waitlist GPA (under the general category only)
The Official Information Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20
working days after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil not be possible to meet that time
limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to 21 August
2020.
This extension is because consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper
response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision. Information about
how to make a complaint is available a
