The draft ATAP (2020) update, and/or documents and communication related to this update
The Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) requires that we advise
you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the day we received your
request. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to
notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to
11 December 2020.
aucklandtransport.govt.nz

This extension is necessary because consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are
such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. As the draft
ATAP and communication involves third parties, we wil need to consult prior to any decision is
made. If you wish to discuss this with me or amend your request, please feel free to contact me by
email on
[email address] quoting CAS-239850-Z6T0Y2.
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you are able to make
a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA and
seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
Yours sincerely
