[FYI request #14249 email]
Dear Sharon,
Request for Information - Our Reference IR-02-20-5516
Thank you for your request for the transcript of a call to 111. The call you
refer to was answered by the Ambulance service and therefore the
information you have requested is not held by New Zealand Police.
I have elected to not transfer your request pursuant to section 43(3) of the
Privacy Act 2020. This is due to the public nature of the FYI.org.nz forum
through which you have made your request. As all correspondence with
you through this forum is made public, I have determined it would not be
appropriate for us to transfer your request to St John Ambulance and risk
the inadvertent public release of a 111 call or transcript containing
potentially sensitive personal information.
I advise you to contact St John New Zealand directly by emailing the
Privacy Officer to request the information. Their email address is:

If you are not satisfied with my response to your request, you have the
right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. More
information about this process is available on their website

Yours sincerely
