We refer to your information request dated 16 December 2020. A copy of your request
is set out below:
In relation to the Great King St Bus Hub .
It was my understanding that a Coffee Kiosk was to be installed in the Bus Hub next to
the public toilets.
Was it ever built and how much did it cost ?
If it was built, where is it ?
If it is or was in storage , how much is that costing per month to store ?
Why has it not been installed
In response to your request I have been informed by Otago Regional Council staff of the
following:
The total costs for the kiosk amounted to $60,464.95,
The kiosk is currently in storage at an ORC owned facility at no additional cost to
the ORC,
The kiosk is not currently required at the Dunedin bus hub location. The kiosk
has a multi-purpose design allowing it to serve different functions for the ORC in
the future.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this
