Thank you for your information request dated 25 March 2021, for:
“Please provide any details regarding funding provided to Panmure FM and/or any
internal or external communications relating to Panmure FM or Darren Masters by any
party related to the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board”
The specific details of your request and our response is below.
Please provide any details regarding funding provided to Panmure FM
On 27 April 2021, and according to our findings at that time, you were informed that no
information was found to be in-scope. However, after further enquiries and research into this
matter, it transpired that a grant was approved to Darren Masters on 28 May 2019 for $258.
This grant was for community radio purposes and approved towards the cost of music
licensing fees.
Any internal or external communications relating to Panmure FM or Darren Masters by
any party related to the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board
All email communications related to the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and Darren
Masters can be found in the
attached document.
Some of this information has been withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA, as
withholding is necessary to protect the privacy of natural persons. Additionally, information
identified to be out of scope and do not relate to the subject of your request, has also been
redacted.
The decision by Auckland Council to release the information contained in this response was
