The advice, if any, provided to the government regarding the May 2021 public
sector pay guidance (referred to by some as the "pay freeze").
The Treasury wrote to you on 2 June 2021 to inform you of our decision under section
15A of the Official Information Act to extend the time limit for deciding on your request
by an additional 20 days. The due date for responding to your request is 7 July 2021.
