Tēnā koe Scott,
I refer to your email of 3 June 2021 in which you request the following under the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA):
1.
Copies of the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 Annual Assessments of Results
2.
Noting that the Evaluation Operational Policy provides for withholding publication of
activity evaluation reports under certain circumstances, I request, for the 2018-
2019 and 2019-2020 reporting periods:
The title of all reports that have not been published on the MFAT website
The completion date of these reports (month and year)
If MFAT decides that there are reports for which the above details can rightly be
withheld under the OIA, I would like to know how many are being withheld.
3.
I request the number of Activity Completion Assessments produced for the 2019-
2020 reporting period, broken down by whole of activity cost. Please break down
costs by the thresholds given in the Activity Planning Policy, i.e:
1) Up to $500,000
2 )$500,000 to $1.5m
3 )$1.5m to $10m
4) Over $10m
4.
I request the same for the Activity Monitoring Assessments produced for the 2019-
2020 reporting period, broken down in the same way.
For the sake of clarity, we will respond to each of your questions in turn below.
1.
Copies of the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 Annual Assessments of Results
Please find attached the Annual Assessment of Results report for 2017-18. There was no
equivalent report written or commissioned for 2018-19.
2.
The title of all reports that have not been published on the MFAT website. The
completion date of these reports (month and year).
We are aware of one instance during the specified reporting period where a decision was made
not to publish a complete activity evaluation report. This was for the mid-term review of the
