RE Official Information Act request CDHB 10638 
 
I refer to your email dated 19 June 2021 requesting the following information under the Official Information Act 
from Canterbury DHB. 
 
1.  I would like a summary of how many people are in each of the four Covid-19 vaccine rollout groups in areas 
administered by the CDHB.  
 
2.  Additionally, I would like the same summary provided just for the area of greater Christchurch city. 
 
3.  I would also like a weekly breakdown of the number of vaccinations that the CDHB is targeting for each of 
these groups. This could be provided as a weekly summary of the number of people the CDHB is expecting to 
be vaccinated in each group, from the beginning of the vaccination programme until the end. 
 
Consultations which are necessary to make a decision on the request mean that a proper response to the request 
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. 
 
The  Canterbury  District  Health  Board  (CDHB)  therefore  requires  further  time  prior  to  issuing  our  response.    The 
period of the extension is 9 August 2021. 
 
We are permitted to make this extension under Section 15A of the Official Information Act 1982.  
 
You have the right to complain to the Ombudsman about our decision to extend the time for responding.
