I refer to your request for information dated 23 June 2021, which was received by Greater Wellington 
Regional Council (Greater Wellington) on 23 June 2021. You have requested the following: 
“I request a copy of the Wellington COVID-19 Regional Resurgence Plan.” 
Greater Wellington’s response follows: 
Attached  is  a  PDF  of  the  Wellington  Region  COVID-19  Resurgence  Plan  (the  plan),  including  all 
annexes.  Please  note  that  while  the  plan  is  complete  and  not  redacted,  it  is  intended  to  enable 
coordination and initial actions if a resurgence occurs. In such a situation, agencies included in the 
plan are expected to appropriately modify their approach based on the specifics of such an event, 
or as directed under the legislated authority for COVID-19 response. 
If you have any concerns with the decision referred to in this letter, you have the right to request an 
investigation and review by the Ombudsman under section 27(3) of the Local Government Official 
Information and Meetings Act 1987.
