Official information request for Grade distribution in School of Engineering
and Computer Science
I refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act)
dated 28 June 2021:
I would like to see the grade distribution of all ECS courses from the past 5 years
(2016-2021) please thank you!
Attached is the grade distribution for courses taught in the School of Engineering and
Computer Science between 2016 and 2021. Information relating to courses that have less
than 10 students enrolled has been removed from this document as provision of grades
for those courses may allow identification of individual students. As such, this
information is withheld in accordance with Section 9(2)(a) of the Act in order to protect
the privacy of natural persons.
Please note:
•
2021 results are incomplete as they are relate only to Trimester 1 at the present
time.
•
We have removed the ENGR291 and ENGR391 courses from the analysis. Prior to
2021 these courses were used to record professional work experience and did not
allocate grades.
•
Instances of missing grades usually pertain to masters thesis and PhD courses that
are ongoing or not completed.
