Thank you for your email of 21 August 2021 requesting information relating to alternative tree
species. Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA).
You requested the following:
In April 2014 $23k was set aside by Associate Primary Industries Minister Jo
Goodhew to produce new information for foresters about alternative tree species to
reduce our reliance on pinus radiata.
Was there ever a report completed? If so can you please provide a copy or direction
to a source.
Please find attached, as Appendix One, the final report on improving access to practical
information on cypresses and eucalypts, dated 31 July 2015.
