Thank you for your email of 27 August 2021 requesting under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act),
the following information:
“1.) Please can I have the number of applicants, by month, who applied for a second
(subsequent, due to a "renewal option not being available) Talent (Accredited Employer) work
visa? From January 2019 to date.
2.) Please advise how many of the above applicants had already submitted Residence
applications? From January 2019 to date.”
Our Response
Question 1
From January 2019 to 27 September 2021, there have been 4,253 applicants who held a Talent
(Accredited Employer) Work Visa who made a subsequent application for a new Talent (Accredited
Employer) Work Visa.
Please see the table attached as Appendix 1 for the monthly breakdown.
Question 2
Of these applicants, 3,960 have made an application for a Resident Visa from 1 January 2019 to 27
September 2021.
