Official Information Act Request relating to parking enforcement
Thank you for your email of 29 September to Te Pūkenga requesting information under the Official
Information Act. The request was transferred to Tai Poutini Polytechnic on 12 October 2021. In response
to your request:
1. All Tai Poutini Polytechnic Limited car parking is provided free of charge for staff and students on a
“first-in” basis, and we rely on the good character of our West Coast citizens in terms of use by the
general public.
2. Tai Poutini Polytechnic Limited is not a signatory to the MBIE Code of Conduct for Parking Enforcement
on private land.
3. Tai Poutini Polytechnic Limited does not have any arrangements with any parking enforcement
contractors.
