Thank you for your email of 5 October 2021 requesting the following information under
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
I request under the Official Information Act if the Minister has requested or
received information from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
on the impact on housing prices of the government's new immigration settings
of letting an additional 160,000 people become residents. And if not why not.
The information requested is to be included in a proposed release of information relating to
decisions on the 2021 resident Visa. Therefore in this instance your request is refused under
section 18(d) of the Act as the information wil soon be made publicly available. When the
release date is confirmed you wil find the information at the following link:
