Thank you for your email of 20 October 2021 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act) which was transferred to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency: 
 
Can I please request the CCTV footage for the intersection of Murphy Road and Guppy 
Road Napier for yesterday the 19/10/2021 at 2.50 -3.10 as my vehicle was involved in an 
accident and I require the information as there is no witness

INFORMATION REQUIRED: CCTV camera footage of the intersection of Murphy Road 
and Guppy Road Napier between 2.50 -3.10 pm. Looking for the accident involving 
BLW395 and another vehicle KQW142 
 
On 27 October 2021 you clarified that the location was the intersection of Meeanee Road and Guppy 
Road. 
 
Unfortunately, Waka Kotahi has no CCTV cameras that view this location so footage of this incident 
has not been captured. I am therefore refusing your request under section 18(g) of the Act as the 
information requested is not held by Waka Kotahi. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
