Information Request – Payments Received for COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
I refer to your official information request dated 23 October 2021 asking for the following
information
:
Please advise any and all payments received in regards to funding, financial assistance,
reimbursement, or payment allocations, for the purpose of hosting, administering, and
supervising Vaccination clinics on site, at various Fire Stations, throughout the entire
country, in 2021.
Your request has been assessed in accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act
1982 (“OIA”).
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Fire and Emergency New Zealand has always encouraged our
people to get vaccinated. Fire and Emergency has not received any payments for the purpose of
hosting, administering and supervising vaccination clinics at Fire Stations. Consequently, it is
necessary to decline your request under section 18(e) of the OIA as the information requested
does not exist.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
