Documents Five and Six of your request are 2019 papers submitted to the Cabinet External
Relations and Security Committee (ERS). I believe your request for these two papers is
more closely connected to the functions of the Minister for National Security and Intelligence,
Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern. Accordingly, I have decided under section 14(b)(ii) of the Act to
transfer these two parts of your request to Minister for National Security and Intelligence.
The remainder of your request (Documents One, Two, Three, Four, Seven and Eight) have
not been transferred, and we will respond in due course in relation to these documents.
The Minister for National Security and Intelligence (Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern) has the usual
timeframes under the Act from receipt of this transfer to make a decision on your request.
