Official Information Act 1982 Request: Definition or use of the term “social licence” 
 
Thank you for your email of 11 November 2021 requesting the following information under 
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
 
“all information you hold in a ministerial capacity regarding the definition or use of the 
term "social licence". To avoid doubt, this request is for information relating to any of 
your portfolio or other ministerial responsibilities.” 
With regard to information held by me in my capacity as Minister of Justice, this request is 
refused under section 18(e) of the Act as the information does not exist.  
If you are not satisfied with my response, you have the right to complain to the Ombudsman
