Request for Information
I refer to your email dated 13 November 2021 requesting the information outlined below. Your
request has been referred to me to reply.
Please provide, for the last five years, the fol owing information provided to you by Trustpower,
as required under the National Water Conservation (Rakaia River) Amendment Order 2013 (the
WCO):
1. Al flow records (in cumecs) into Lake Coleridge from the diversions of the Harper,
Wilberforce and the Acheron Rivers. (as per S9A9(b) of the WCO).
2. Corresponding flow records (in cumecs) out of Lake Coleridge into the Rakaia Rivers
via the HEPS.
3. Records kept by Trustpower for the Lake Coleridge Hydroelectric Power Scheme (as
per S9A(3) pf the WCO) of the;
a. stored water within Lake Coleridge;
b. stored water that has been discharged from Lake Coleridge;
c. water (including stored water) being diverted into any canal from Lake Coleridge.
We have supplied al the data you have requested in the attached spreadsheet. Please be
aware that there is a summary page with some important comments about the different data
sets.
You wil be aware that if you are not satisfied with this response you are able to refer this matter
to the Office of the Ombudsman under s27 (3) of the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987.

website. No personal details of the requester are given, but we do summarise the essence of
the request alongside the response.
