Attached are the latest results from re running the AM and IP models with slightly tweaked demands. There isn’t a 
great deal of difference to the results but it does make sense to me. There are slight improvements to the north and 
1982
south movements in terms of LOS. The journey times remain similar to last time, albeit a little bit longer.

Attached is the Climate Change paper with my revisions – I’ve basically rewritten the modelling & emissions 
outcomes, with reporting on a hourly basis for both CAST & Paramics for CO2, and daily for the other harmful 
pollutants.  Outputs from both models have been calibrated against VEPM 6.1 using “adjustment factors” – as we

discussed on Tuesday – so are consistent between model platforms and based on the predicted 2028 fleet 
composition. 
 
I’ve also attached the spreadsheet I’ve used for this calibration and to consolidate the results – it’s a bit messy as it 
has evolved as I’ve updated the paper, but happy to talk you through it if you’re interested.
