Please provide Guidelines/procedure in the treatment of patients after a suicide attempt and/or

Ongoing risk assessment, formulation and management is an important part of the treatment of any
person under the care of a mental health clinician. This is a core component of a clinician’s practice,
tertiary education and ongoing training.
The service has a dedicated crisis team that specialises in the timely assessment and intervention for
people experiencing a mental health crisis. The service works in partnership with other service
providers and ensures that crisis support is available 24/7.
Each person is treated on an individual basis and receives individualised support that is appropriate for
their needs.
