Thank you for your email of 15 December 2021 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information: 
 
I am curious as to: 
a) how many MIQ slots were granted in association with this production for all personnel 
involved (including crew etc); 
b) what was the rationale behind the decision to grant these slots? 
i) in the case of 'job creation' how many jobs are expected to be granted to locals during the 
course of production? 
ii) in the case of other economic benefits, what evidence was provided and how was it assessed? 
 
This letter is to notify you that the Ministry is transferring the request to the Ministry of Culture and 
Heritage in accordance with section 14 of the Official Information Act 1982. This transfer is occurring 
because the Ministry believes that the information requested is more closely aligned with the functions 
of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage. 
 
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Act to seek an investigation and review by the 
Ombudsman of my decision to transfer your request. The relevant details can be found at:
