represent.
3. The criteria and/or requirements as a Land Manager for representation on this

I enclose a copy of the Terms of Reference for the National Land Management Forum – see page 1
of the
enclosed PDF document.
Question two
I enclose a copy of the Membership list of the National Land Management Forum as at 20

Question three
The National Land Management forum was established with a core purpose of bringing together
Land Management Agencies with interests in vegetation fire management. This has been done by
industry group leads, for example the Chair of the Fire Committee for Forestry Owners Association
attends on behalf of the Fire Committee membership and Fire Portfolio holder for Federated
Farmers attends on behalf of its members.
Question four
I enclose meeting minutes/agenda we hold from meetings in 2020 and 2021 – see pages 3 to 20 of
the
enclosed PDF document. Please note that the meeting scheduled for 6 December 2021 was
cancelled.
There were two additional meetings where there are no associated Minutes; however, I enclose
the following records of those meetings:
• A meeting was held on 8 March 2021 to discuss the fire risks associated with Carbon
Forestry – see pages 21 to 23 of the
enclosed PDF document; and
• The forum met on 30 November 2021 to discuss the Lake Ōhau Fire Investigation Report -
a link to the report can be foun
d here. I enclose a copy of the PowerPoint presentation
from the meeting – see pages 24 to 60 of the
enclosed PDF document.
