Dear John,
Thank you for your email of 26 January 2022 requesting under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act),
the following information:
“I would like to request a organisational chart of Immigration Business Migration Branch, E.g.
1 branch manager, 2 vice-branch manager, 2 assistant branch manager etc. It would be great
if you could also provide their name as well.
Also, I would like to know the branch's profile, e.g. what is BMB's focus and what kind of visa
they are assessing and any sub-teams they are having, purpose/function of each sub teams.”
Our Response On 28 March 2019 in response to your request under the Official Information Act (ref. DOIA 1819-1286)
we advised you that Business Migration Branch (BMB) was no longer its own entity. In 2017 BMB was
incorporated into Immigration New Zealand’s (INZ) Porirua office that has Business Immigration
Specialists who focus on assessing business migration visa applications.
The Business Immigration Specialists process the following visa categories:
• Entrepreneur Residence
• Entrepreneur Work
• Employees of Relocating Businesses
• Investor 1
• Investor 2
• Parent Retirement
• Temporary Retirement
• Global Impact
• Global Impact Permanent Residence
