Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act 1987 (the Act), received on 17 March 2022. You requested the fol owing information:
• What diversity and inclusion training has been provided to the arts and Toi Poneke
business units over the last three financial years, including the procurement process,
suppliers, attendance, and content delivered.
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days
after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil not be possible to meet that time
limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision,
to 22 April 2022.
This extension is necessary because consultations with different Council business units is
necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably
be made within the original time limit.
I do apologies for the delay in providing you with the information and I hope to provide you with
the information as soon as possible.
Right of review
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Office of the Ombudsman
to investigate the Council’s decision. Further information is available on the Ombudsman website,
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
