Auckland Council Organisational Chart
Thank you for your information request dated 21 March 2022 for the most recent copy of
Auckland Council’s organisational chart with full staff assignments by department and unit,
including the total number of managers employed by Auckland Council.
The specific details of your request and our response is below:
I refer to a previous LGOIMA request made on FYI, in August 2014 (Your reference:
9000131219). Please disclose the most recent copy of your organisational chart with full staff
assignments by department and unit. Furthermore, please confirm the total number of
managers employed by Auckland Council.
I have consulted with our People and Capability department in relation to your request.
Please find attached the document which shows the positions that exist within Auckland
Council’s organisational structure by division, department, unit and/or team name.
Please note that while a position might exist within the organisational structure, it is not
necessarily fil ed and therefore the enclosed document cannot be taken as a record of staff
numbers. Data regarding the number of staff is, however, included within the Auckland
Council Annual Report.
We can also confirm that we have 957 People Leaders employed at Council as at March
2022.
