Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request dated 2 May 2022 (ref 21/22 0743) 
The Department is extending the deadline for responding to the above OIA request by 27 
working days to 8 July 2022 under sections 15A(1)(a) and 15A(1)(b) of the OIA. 
This extension is required because: 
•  15A(1)(a) – The request is for a large quantity of official information or necessitates a 
search through a large quantity of information and meeting the original time limit 
would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the Department; and 
•  15A(1)(b) – Consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that 
a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time 
limit 
If you are dissatisfied with the Department’s decision on your request for information, you 
have the right, under section 28 of the OIA, to make a complaint to the Office of the
