Thank you for your email of 9 May 2022 requesting information relating to Exercise Mataara. 
 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) wil  not be able to respond within the timeframe set 
out in the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) because consultations necessary to make a 
decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within 
the normal 20 working day time limit. As such, the timeframe for your request is being 
extended pursuant to section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA. 
 
MPI wil  reply to your request by no later than 6 July 2022, earlier if possible.
