Governance Group 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act (the Act), received on 24 
May 2022. You requested: 
 
“Regarding the inter-agency Pacific Geostrategic and Security Governance Group, I 
would like to request the following information: 
 
- The group’s membership list 
- A copy of the group’s terms of reference 
- A copy of the group’s current work programme ” 
 
I believe that the information you have requested is more closely connected with the functions 
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). Accordingly, I have decided under section 
14(b)(ii) of the Act to transfer your request to MFAT for response. 
 
MFAT has the usual timeframes under the Act from receipt of this transfer to make a decision
