1. Andrew Chen [Research Fellow, Koi Tū: The Centre for Informed Futures at
The University of Auckland]
Andrew is a Research Fellow with Koi Tū: The Centre for Informed Futures at The
University of Auckland. He has a technical computing background and has research
interests in technology ethics, particularly in public sector use of digital technologies. 1982
2. Kevin Clements [Director of the Toda Peace Institute]
Professor Kevin Clements is the current Director of the Toda Peace Institute and
former Foundation Chair of Peace and Conflict Studies of the New Zealand Centre for

3. Martin Donoghue [Chief Executive, RSA]
Martin is the current Chief Executive of the RSA. He served in the military for over 35
years, specialising in Bomb Disposal. Martin has also worked as a programme
manager at the United Nations Mine Action Service based in New York, and as a
technical adviser in a number of countries impacted by mines. He is the joint
developer of a non-explosive device for disposing of landmines and UXO (unexploded
explosive ordnance).

4. Jamila Homayun [Head of International Projects, Habitat for Humanity New
Zealand]
Jamila has worked in the international development sector for the last two decades
and is the current Head of International Programmes at Habitat for Humanity New
Zealand, leading a programme that focuses on building shelter resilience in the

Pacific. She also took part in the international campaign to ban cluster munitions and
has worked on a number of issues in the disarmament sector. Jamila has a Masters
in Forced Migration.

5. Edwina Hughes [Coordinator of Peace Movement Aotearoa]
Edwina Hughes is an activist and researcher with experience working to promote
diplomacy and humanitarian disarmament for peace and security. She is currently
the Coordinator of Peace Movement Aotearoa, which is the country’s national peace
under
network and national lead for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear
Weapons, Stop Killer Robots, and other global civil society coalitions. Edwina has
engaged extensively in human rights bodies and on women, peace and security.
6. Dylan Maynard [Graduate Student, Victoria University of Wellington]
Dylan Maynard is a graduate student who interned with the New Zealand Red Cross
in 2021. He is currently studying for a Masters of Strategic Studies at Victoria
University of Wellington, where he graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in

7. Mary Wareham [Advocacy Director for the Arms Division of Human Rights
Watch]
Deputy Chair of PACDAC, Mary Wareham is an advocate, researcher, and manager
with experience in human rights and humanitarian disarmament. She is currently
Advocacy Director for the Arms Division of Human Rights Watch. Mary served as
founding global coordinator of the Stop Killer Robots campaign until March 2021. She
campaigned for the adoption of the 1997 treaty banning landmines and the 2008
convention prohibiting cluster munitions, and edits annual monitoring reports 1982
assessing compliance with these treaties. Mary served as a PACDAC member in
2007-2012.

8. Lucy Stewart [Programme Manager, Disarmament and Security Centre]
Lucy Stewart is the Programme Manager at the Disarmament and Security Centre in
Ōtautahi, Christchurch. She has been working in the field of disarmament in New
Zealand for seven years, in a range of not-for-profit organisations. She holds a
Masters Degree in International Relations and Human Rights from the University of
Auckland.
