20 working days because it necessitated consultations to be undertaken before a decision could

Briefing: Securing the Internet of Things in New Zealand
I have decided to release the relevant parts of the documents listed above, subject to
information being withheld under one or more of the following sections of the Act, as
applicable:
6(a), to protect the security or defence of New Zealand or the international
relations of the Government of New Zealand;
6(b)(i), to prejudice the entrusting of information to the Government on a
basis of confidence by another Government;
9(2)(a), to protect the privacy of individuals;
9(2)(ba)(i), to protect the supply of similar information in the future;
9(2)(f)(iv), to maintain the confidentiality of advice tendered by or to Ministers and
officials; and
9(2)(g)(i) to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free
and frank expression of opinion.
Information to be withheld
I have decided to withhold in full the below listed document covered by your request that
under the following section of the Act:
6(b)(i), to protect the entrusting of information to the Government of New
Zealand on a basis of confidence by the Government of any other country or
any agency of such a Government.
