Thank you for your email of 19 July 2022 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE), requesting under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information: 
 
“I am writing to kindly request the most recent approval and decline statistics for employer 
accreditation, job check and AEWV. 
Also, could you please advise where this information can be accessed publicly in the 
future?” 
 
Our response 
 
As at 25 July 2022, there were 6,950 Employer Accreditation applications approved and there 
were no declined applications. 
 
As at 25 July 2022, there were 321 Job Check applications approved which equates to 2,002 job 
positions, and only one application declined (equating to 10 job positions). 
 
As at 25 July 2022, there was one Accredited Employer Work Visa application approved and 
there were no declined applications. 
 
Statistics on Accredited Employer Work Visa applications will be made available on the 
Immigration New Zealand website in the near future.  We do not have an exact date at this time 
unfortunately.
