Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act 1987 (the Act), received on 19 August 2022. You requested the fol owing information:
I am requesting all correspondence, emails, documents, agendas, meeting
agendas/appointments, between council staff and:
The Wellington Company (all employees and management) Egmont Dixon (all employees and
management) Earl Hope-Pearson Ian Cassels Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust (all
trustees, employees and management)
Relating to activities and proposed activities on Miramar Peninsula, especially in regards to
Shelly Bay and surrounding bays, dated from 1 December 2021 to 19 September 2022.
Wel ington City Council has partially granted your request for information. Thank you for your

Information (password: IRC-3782) We are providing
information from the Manager City Development who is the key contact on the Shel y Bay
Development. Where redactions have been made to the information released this has been done
for privacy reasons (section 7(2)(a) of the Act).
Commercial information has been withheld in full in accordance with section 7(2)(b)(i ). One email
concerning a police report has been withed in accordance with section 6(2)(a) of the Act.
For completeness, remaining information from various teams has been refused in accordance with
section 17(f) of the Act. As it would require wide searches of various officers that dealt with the
project to assess for information relevant. This would entail substantial research to identify if
contact was had with those relevant to your request. The Manager City Development would
however hold key information relevant to your request. If you do believe further information is
required based of the information released. We are happy to conduct targeted searches.
Right of review
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Office of the Ombudsman
to investigate the Council’s decision. Further information is available on the Ombudsman website,
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
