Milk Purchases 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 
(the Act), received on 29 August 2022. You requested the fol owing information: 
•  How many litres of dairy milk are purchased per year for Council staff? 
 
Wellington City Council has partly granted your request for information. 
 
The Council holds data on milk purchased specifically for our central and corporate sites, however the data 
is not detailed enough to also capture all our remote sites, such as smaller branch libraries. We are 
therefore refusing your request under section 17(g) of the LGOIMA because the requested information is 
not held. 
 
We can,  however,  confirm the total  litres of milk purchased in one year for the following central  and 
corporate sites: 
 
Tahiwi – 113 The Terrace 
Kai Upoko – 79 Boulcott Street 
MOB – 101 Wakefield Street 
Te Awa Library – 29 Brandon Street 
Arapaki Library & Service Centre – 12 Manners Street 
Te Pataka – 141 Johnsonvil e Road 
 
Financial year July 2021 - June 2022 
11,574 litres of milk were purchased.
