OFFICIAL INFORMATION ACT REQUEST 2022/32 
On Monday 5 September you made a request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA) for 
the following information: 
 
Are you please able to supply a .CSV file of all submissions made to the Election Access Fund, with 
redactions to submitters' names. Where submissions have been made in a format that would 
preclude them from being easily supplied in this format, original formats can be supplied. 
 
Attached is the .csv file of submissions with some information withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the 
Act to protect the privacy of natural persons. 
 
Given the small number of respondents interested in applying to the fund, this information could be 
identifying when combined with the substantive comments from those people. Accordingly, we have 
withheld this column under section 9(2)(a), and we instead provide a summary as follows. To the 
question “Are you, or is someone from your group, interested in applying to this fund?” 14 
respondents answered “yes”, 60 answered “no”, 22 answered “not sure” and one gave no response. 
In the interests of transparency, we release responses to Official Information Act requests every 3 
months. We will publish this response with your personal details redacted. 
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Act to make a complaint to the Ombudsman if you are 
not satisfied with the response to your request.  Information about how to do this is available at
