Your Official Information Act request, reference H2022012873:
Thank you for your email of 16 September 2022 requesting information relating to
Aotearoa New Zealand Cardiac Arrest Registry reports received by the Manatū
Hauora (Ministry of Health).
As part of the health and disability system reforms, as of 1 July 2022 the functions
previously under the Manatū Hauora National Ambulance Sector Office (NASO)
directorate have transferred to Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora).
As the matters you have raised now fall under the functions of Te Whatu Ora, our
agency wil respond to your request, which has been considered under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act). You requested the following:
“Please supply monthly and quarterly Aotearoa New Zealand Cardiac Arrest
Registry reports received by the Ministry of Health July 1 2018 - to July 1 2022.”
Please refer to the chart below for quarterly information on cardiac arrests from 2018
as part of NASOs regular reporting.
