Thank you for your Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 3 October 2022, 
in which you requested the following: 
I'd like to know all the costs incurred by Police for John Sinclair to date, 
broken down into categories where possible. Policing costs (man hours 
spent each time he commits an offence).  
Your request is refused in full pursuant to section 18(g) of the OIA, as the 
information requested is not held by Police and I have no reason to believe it is 
held by another agency.  
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are not 
satisfied with the response to your request. Information about how to make a 
complaint is available at: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
