Thank you for your email of 10 October 2022 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
Can you please me this CCTV footage available to me or to the Police […] 
Date - 7 October 2022 
Time - 1.15 pm Appx 
Location - Northern Motorway - Southbound ( near Albany ) 
This was involving a traffic incident on Northern Motorway, southbound near Albany exit. 
I was hit by a black Mjazda CX9 from behind and he did not stop after that. I followed him 
for some time but he sped away. I was driving a white toyota aqua. Just for the exact 
landmark, i remember where he hit me just close to that location there was a Police car 
parked on the side 50 meters ahead of me, who had stopped a motorist […] 
 
While footage was viewed from cameras in the area, unfortunately it did not capture this incident or 
vehicles as described. I am therefore refusing your request under section 18(g)(i) of the Act as the 
information requested is not held by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and there is no reason to 
believe it is held by another government agency or department. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
