Dear Hemant
Request for information
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 15 October 2022, in
which you asked:
How much time of a police officers day is taken up with typing on a computer?
Police refuses your request pursuant to section 18(g) of the OIA as the information
requested is not held by Police. To answer your question, Police would need to conduct
time studies to generate the information and there are presently no plans to do that.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are not satisfied
with the response to your request. Information about how to make a complaint is
available a
t: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
Yours sincerely
PP
