Thank you for your correspondence dated 21 October 2022 in relation to meetings held
between Central Otago District Council and Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL).
Please find the CODC response to the information request of “Meetings held between Central
Otago District Council and Christchurch International Airport Limited” below.
The following meetings were held during 2020/22 between Central Otago District Council
and CIAL.
30 July 2020 – Wil iam Fraser Building, Alexandra – 2 CIAL and 4 CODC, 6 people in
attendance
9 October 2020 – Nichols Garden Centre Café – 1 CIAL and 1 CODC, 2 people in
attendance
9 December 2020 – Council Meeting, Wil iam Fraser Building, Alexandra – 2 CIAL and
17 CODC, 19 people in attendance
10 April 2021 – Tarras Country Café – 1 CIAL and 1 CODC, 2 people in attendance
12 July 2021 - Wil iam Fraser Building, Alexandra – 1 CIAL and 1 CODC, 2 people in
attendance
13 September 2021 – Microsoft Teams – 2 CIAL and 10 CODC, 12 people in attendance
27 April 2022 – Council Meeting, Wil iam Fraser Building, Alexandra – 2 CIAL and 14
CODC, 16 people in attendance
17 May 2022 – Wil iam Fraser Building, Alexandra
We are unable to confirm who was present, it was an open invite for staff in the leadership
group to attend but attendance was not taken.
23 August 2022 – Relishes Café – 1 CIAL and 2 CODC, 3 people in attendance
30 September 2022 – Tin Goose Café – 1 CIAL and 2 CODC, 3 people in attendance
To the best of our knowledge, council has captured all meetings held during 2020-2022
between Central Otago District Council and Christchurch International Airport Limited. No
minutes or meeting notes were taken at these meetings.
